What curriculum does Childcare Network use?
What is the Science of Reading?
The Science of Reading is a research-backed approach to teaching children how to read. It draws decades of studies in literacy, cognitive science, and child development to identify the most effective ways to build reading skills. Rather than relying on guesswork or memorization, it focuses on five core areas: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. At Childcare Network, our curriculum is informed by these proven principles, giving children a strong literacy foundation from the very beginning.
What does child-led learning mean?
Child-led learning means following your child’s natural curiosity. There is still structure, routine, and expert guidance, but children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and discover answers at their own pace. Our teachers observe each child’s unique interests and tailor activities accordingly, creating a personalized learning experience that builds confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning that lasts far beyond the classroom.
